Dinosaur Hunt

This dinosaur motion comic was produced as part of my internship at The Sequence Group, a boutique animation studio. Based on a loose script, I created storyboards, designs, and final paintings. Many thanks to the Sequence team for providing support and art direction.

Birds are the great-great-great grandchildren of dinosaurs, so I based the following dinosaur designs off of their feathered relatives.

The creative director selected some key scenes from my storyboards, and I rendered them as digital paintings.

My art director felt the following image was too monochromatic, so I created a second version using a richer colour palette. This alternate palette was not consistent with the first few paintings, but since the dinosaur motion comic was an internal project, we decided to be less concerned about consistency and more concerned about providing me with a good learning opportunity.
