Backgrounds and Layouts

As part of the self-directed assignments at Vault 100, a hub for entertainment designers, I experimented with different environment concepts. The first is a zen garden treehouse that is accessible by flying rake, which is the zen-inspired equivalent of a flying broomstick. Rakes are traditionally used in zen gardens to create patterns in the gravel. The second concept portrays a suburban slum of shipping container homes. Its inhabitants commute via train to work in the city’s modern, downtown core up north.
